Just (back) in - Napa Firelites!

I know - right?  It took long enough, but we finally got in more Napa Firelites!!!    We did get in a bigger shipment this time than in the past, but you know how fast they go, so... you better get your butt in here ASAP - just sayin'!:)

For those of you who don't know about Napa Firelites - they are beautiful ceramic pots that produce a dramatic flame the crackles and dances as if to music.  The pots can be used indoor or out and the flame won't get blown out by the wind - so cool!  There are two types of gel to burn in the pot - regular or citronella for those mosquito filled summer nights!

Oh Carolina!

People always ask us - do you have anything from North Carolina?  Unfortunately, except for our amazing jewelry designers, we have always had to say no...  Until now!  Well, this stuff isn't actually made in NC but it has NC on it - do you think that will count?:)  I think these are going to make great realtor gifts - kind of "welcome to your new state kind of gifts" - as well as great corporate gifts!

Get Beached!

I heart summer - especially the weeks that I get to spend at the beach!  Here in Cary, NC we are very lucky, because we can see the ocean in less than 2 hours (1 1/2 with my husband driving)! 

BUT if I can't get to the beach - at least I can make myself feel like I'm there!  That is why we just got in this amazing food and beverage line from the Blue Crab Bay Company!  There were lots of products to choose from, but these four were my ultimate faves - Shrimp Dip Kit, Crab Dip Kit, Get Beached (Margarita Mix) and Sting Ray (Bloody Mary Mix).  I have personally tried everything - I HAD to for the business - right;) - and they are all SOOOOOOOO good!  !

These dips and drink mixes make great summer hostess gifts!  Perfect with a cute serving platter, too!

Silly Bands - A HOT Trend!

We just got these Silly Bands at the store and they are flying out like crazy! A mother of a middle school kid told us they were "All the rage!" Not sure what they are doing with them, but hey - who am I to judge a middle school trend? I wore two different colored socks on EACH foot, sat around at lunch singing "Every rose has it's thorn", and my hair was so high I could hardly sit in the car back then:)

SO - we just wanted to let you know that we have the Silly Bands at Swagger! Perfect for Easter baskets, birthday parties, great job on your test, etc!

Front Door Idea!

We got these fabulous oversized flowers in the other day and we were all talking about cool ideas for what to do with them. The flowers come in two sizes and a bunch of different colors.

My mom took one of the large flowers home and put it on her front door! So cute! What a FRESH new idea instead of a wreath this spring! Go Mom!

My mom is also in charge of decorating the store and hung one over the "window" inside Swagger. I think this concept could be used inside the home over an archway, in a little girls room, on an inside door -the possibilities are endless! I love how the flower adds a pop of color and a touch of spring at the same time.

What would you do with one of these flowers? I know we have some creative customers out there!

This just in...NEW Scout Bags!

It's Groundhog Day...but not at Swagger! New "stuff" is arriving daily to keep us all on our toes and out of the "same thing different day" rut!

What arrived today? New SCOUT Bags by Bungalow! And for the record, I want to work at Bungalow:) I know it's not Groundhog day over there! How much fun would it be to come up with the names of the new bags? This time they came out with the "napoleon", "pleasure chest", "ice ice baby", and more! Let alone their design team is fantastic - we LOVE all the new patterns! We are especially psyched about the Alphabet pattern - great for little kids rooms and diaperbags - soooo cute! We noticed at market that pink and orange are going to be huge this year - and of course there is a SCOUT bag in this color combo! Come in soon to see all the new fabrics and designs... you know how fast they sell out!

This just in.... Echo Designs Scarves, Gloves & Pashminas

We have been waiting for our shipment of Echo Designs scarves, gloves, and pashminas and they finally arrived - yeah!!!! This company was such a huge hit last year we knew we had to get their Fall 2009 line too!


The trends for Fall 2009 have been Colors that Pop (think tangerine, yellow, purple, turquoise, red...), Animal Prints, and Plaids. We have it all in our newest shipment of outwear so come by and check it out!

I love scarves and have totally embraced this trend! I wore them when I could during the summer (without dying of a heat stroke), but now that it is fall - watch out! My favorite accessory for any outfit - for sure! I love that you can go from an okay outfit to totally chic with the addition of a scarf! I thought I would include this video from Echo Designs so you guys could see all the ways you can "tie" your scarves!
