Market Watch July 2010 - Day 2

Last week we asked you guys to fill out a survey to let us know what you wanted to see in the store and it was an overwhelming - MORE BABY AND KIDS STUFF!  So today we basically shopped for the little people!

We started off the day buying a brand new wall art and growth chart line.  My mom and I were truly blown away by how beautiful the art work was.  What do you guys think?  Everthing can be personalized and it only takes 3 weeks to come in.

Next we purchased a new "back to school" line with backpacks, lunch boxes, and water bottles.  You've got to come by and check out all 6 patterns.  We loved them!

Then we moved on to tween jewelry.  We think this is going to be the biggest thing in Swagger jewelry since Trollbeads:)  Actually it is kind of like Trollbeads for kids - ha!  The bracelet has magnets on it (for lack of a better description) and then all the magnets have cute magnets that "click" on - great description - right?!  I guess you guys will just have to come by to check it out:)  Or check out Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift or the Jonas brothers - they have all been "caught" wearing this great new jewelry line!  We are pretty sure it is going to be HUGE with the tweens!

We also bought children's books, sticker books (great for big brother/big sister gifts when taking something to the hospital), cute clothes, socks, toys, and more! 

Thanks for letting us know what you want - we do listen(!) - and I think you guys are going to be psyched when all this stuff comes in!

Oh, baby! Great new baby gifts under $40!

Baby season is in full swing, so I just had to give you all a peek at some of the newest and cutest baby gifts at Swagger! Here are my "top five" picks of the new baby swag- everything $40 or less!

This week we are giving away another item by Lipstick Shades (I'm just so excited about all their NEW stuff) - Personalized Melamine Kid's Plates! Aren't they adorable? Cutest ones I've seen - for sure! I LOVE the big graphics! Personalized plates make a great birthday gift for the kids - I like to think that seeing their name under all the food might make them eat their veggies! Another great idea - my mom just purchased these for all her grandkids as part of their Easter gifts - there was one to fit each of their little personalities! This just in...NEW Scout Bags!

It's Groundhog Day...but not at Swagger! New "stuff" is arriving daily to keep us all on our toes and out of the "same thing different day" rut!

What arrived today? New SCOUT Bags by Bungalow! And for the record, I want to work at Bungalow:) I know it's not Groundhog day over there! How much fun would it be to come up with the names of the new bags? This time they came out with the "napoleon", "pleasure chest", "ice ice baby", and more! Let alone their design team is fantastic - we LOVE all the new patterns! We are especially psyched about the Alphabet pattern - great for little kids rooms and diaperbags - soooo cute! We noticed at market that pink and orange are going to be huge this year - and of course there is a SCOUT bag in this color combo! Come in soon to see all the new fabrics and designs... you know how fast they sell out!

Pee Pee Tee-pees on Brothers and Sisters

So last night I was catching up on all my DVRed shows and was so excited to see Pee Pee Tee-pees on my FaVoRiTe Show - Brothers and Sisters! If you do not watch this show - you really need to! (Especially if you have brothers and sisters -the family dynamics are "real" and it will probably make you feel like your family is more normal!:) )

23 Boxes arrived Today!!!!

Yeah! The stuff I ordered from Market is starting to come in!!! I love it when I see the FedEx truck "back up" in front of Swagger - it means LOTS of goodies! They don't "back up" for less than 10 boxes so I knew it was going to be at least that, but I was so excited to receive 23! All of them were Mud Pie - and the stuff in the 23 boxes is adorable!

This is what our back room looks like and we have already unpacked half the boxes!:) We are tripping on each other!The boxes have all kinds of cool stuff in them like these super cute monogrammed baby dishes - call for your letter if you like them - it might be a while before they make their way to the website! And here is a professional photo from MudPie with the new Monogrammed Wine Glasses and Double Old Fashion Glasses (we have matching monogrammed highball glasses too). I guess it looks a little better than the ones I took in my back room!:)
