Swagger Does It Again!

Goodbye Atlanta, Hello Cary!

We stayed an extra day so we could absolutely see everything - the lengths that I will go to for you guys!:) My mom and I are dead tired but I think we covered EVERY square inch of the place and have found the most amazing stuff! We laughed, we cried - we found a monogram for every part of your life!:) I think monogrammed items are going to be bigger this year than ever before - is that even possible? Yep - I think so! Of course you know we love that trend here at Swagger! Today's favorite item was this great beach chair cover - it comes in lime green and hot pink. And monogrammed? Stop it! I can't wait to get to the Lifetime Fitness pool - all the other women are going to be soooo jealous!

We also had fun in this "money" machine - we had a chance to win money, lunch, or gas cards. My mom got a $25 gas card - woo hoo! The perks of market:)!

We will be back in the store on Wednesday with new purses and jewelry so come visit! So until then - hugs! (Now I am going to bed because I am about to fall out!)

Celebrate Good Times, Come on!

So Kool and the Gang played for MY birthday at market tonight - isn't that awesome?! :) They are really good entertainers and we had so much fun! Then as we were leaving we were in the right place at the right time (that never happens) and as we were coming down the stairs the band was coming up and my mom and I both got to shake "Kool's" hand - I will never wash it again!:)

Besides that, we bought some great new monogrammed stuff for the store and web in between my birthday wishes phone calls - I love my friends!:) Here is a picture of Big Wood Board's new monogrammed board - I love it!

We are staying an extra day to find even more great stuff for you guys - so see you on Wednesday!

Thank you, Thank you very much

We had an Elvis sighting!:) As much work as market is, it's a lot of fun too! The showrooms have parties with "celebrities", food, and my favorite - wine!:) I guess they realize they have to give us the good stuff to keep us going!

Today we went CrAzy! The amount of jewelry and purses that we purchased today was insane! I should have taken a picture of the 3 huge bags we filled up. The spring jewelry is so beautiful - bright colors and charms are going to be huge! I don't have a picture but everything will be in the store by this Wednesday so come by and check it out!

We also bought a lot of "green" stuff! I have see the green trend become popular over the last year or so and I am so excited that everyone is trying to do their part to make this world a better place. One of my favorite new items that we purchased at market were these awesome new recycled water bottles. You can use these instead of a plastic water bottle. They are 16 oz, resuable, BPA free, AND they come in cute colors!

Here are a couple facts about plastic water bottle:

» Americans use 25 million plastic bottles every hour – and most of them are thrown away!

» If every American household recycled just one out of every ten bottles they used, we could keep 200 million pounds of plastic out of landfills every year.

Green is good - but lets not forget how much money these bottles will save you so you can buy new shoes and purses (I am always rationalizing!) We will let you know when they come in and we will definitely have them on the web!

Shoes, Shoes, and MORE Shoes!

I love shoes - no matter what size I am they still fit!:) Today we bought some amazing shoe stuff - huge shoe wine holders, shoe spreaders, shoe napkins, and even miniatures! I think everyone has at least one friend who is a crazy shoe person - I am totally thinking about my friends Kim and Heather right now - they are going to die! Here is a teeny preview - get it - they're miniatures.:) Anyway, the detailing is unbelievable - I just wish I could actually wear these beautiful shoes in real life without my feet hurting!:(

One of the other really cool things we bought today were these frames that stick directly to the wall. I think they are going to make a great graduation gift because you don't have to put any holes in your dorm room walls! You can also move them around whenever you want to! Look below to see how they work. I think I am going to do this grouping in my kitchen - I can't wait for them to come in!

We have Good News!

You guys asked for more Scout Bags and we are bringing them to you! I am so excited about the new fabrics and items!! Our favorite new fabric is the "Good News" pattern! It is so nostalgic and fun - you guys are going to love it! Here I am posing with it - so cute! It will be in the store in February!

It was hard to pick our favorite new Scout item (there were so many!) but the new laptop covers are awesome! I mean how cute is this monogrammed?! Love it!

We bought lots of other stuff and stopped by the Trollbeads Showroom. They are having a HUGE new release in the next couple weeks! Don't worry - you know I will keep you all updated!

Now I am ridiculously tired and am going to bed. Shopping is hard work!

Merry Christmas!

Hold Up. Did I just say Merry Christmas? I guess I am kind of in the Holiday Spirit after buying Christmas 2009 items all day! (Little retail secret - we buy Holiday items almost a year in advance:)) I am SOOOOOOOO excited about everything - I can't even stand it! I really do think this is the best Christmas stuff I have ever seen - all the artists have definitely been busy since last market! I can't wait until November for you guys to see it:)

The only non-Holiday stuff we bought today was new product by one of our FAVORITE artists - Erin Smith! We were so excited when we saw it we did the "Dance of Joy" - you know - Balky - Perfect Strangers - anyone? I know all you 80's kids know what I'm talking about! Anyway, right now we carry her cards, but we'll soon have her hilariously witty art on aprons, night shirts, and kitchen towels. Below is one of my favorite pieces in her collection.

To Market To Market!

January Market started today and I have already found some awesome stuff! The one major request that you guys asked for was more monogrammed baby stuff! I am happy to say that I found these adorable monogrammed baby pillows! They will be in the store and on the web very soon!


I am so tired right now so I am going to bed after a long day of shopping! My mom is joining me tomorrow which I am very excited about - it is hard to make all the decisions by myself! So hopefully we will have lots of stuff to tell you about then!
